FAQ – Most frequent questions

Is it possible to use this glass bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the glass bottle can, if hygiene rules are followed, be safely used repeatedly. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned of residues of the previous product and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol (ALK001) or ethanol (ALK002). After disinfection, let the bottle and the cap dry completely so that they are ready for the new filling.

For which type of cosmetic products is this bottle most suitable?

The glass bottle is popular for packaging facial serums, active concentrates, toners, treatment solutions, oils and special cures, where the stability of the composition and secure closure are important. Thanks to its smaller volume, it is also suitable for testers, travel sizes or concentrated products that are used in small doses.

How to properly clean the bottle before new filling?

First rinse the packaging with warm water, possibly with the addition of a mild cleaning agent, to remove residues of the previous product. Then we recommend disinfecting the bottle and the cap with alcohol – suitable is isopropyl alcohol (ALK001) or plant-based ethanol (ALK002). After rinsing with alcohol, let the individual parts drain and dry completely on a clean, dust-free surface. Only then is the packaging ready for new use.

How to safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. Place the glass part of the bottle, after emptying and basic rinsing of product residues, into the container designated for glass. Sort the safety cap according to the type of material given in the technical parameters – it is usually plastic, which belongs in the appropriate container for plastic waste. By sorting the individual parts separately, you contribute to effective recycling of packaging materials.
