Glass bottle – blue dosing bottle with smoky top is an elegant and functional packaging suitable for high-quality cosmetic products as well as professional formulations. The heavy glass provides stable protection of the contents, making this packaging ideal for filling products where purity, precise dosing and a representative appearance of the final product are important. The darker shade of the glass helps reduce light penetration, which contributes to the protection of more sensitive components and to longer stability of the formulas.
This glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters. In practice, it can be combined for example with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical dosing applicators, allowing you to adapt the method of application to the specific type of product.
The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass bottle is a stable packaging material that is generally suitable also for products with a higher content of active ingredients, oils and natural extracts. The darker glass helps reduce light penetration, which can be an advantage for more sensitive formulations. Nevertheless, we recommend for each new product to carry out your own compatibility test, within which you verify the behaviour of the packaging during short-term as well as longer-term contact with your specific recipe.
The glass packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the packaging has completely dried is it appropriate to proceed to refilling.
Before first use we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then appropriate to disinfect the inner surface, for example using IPA 99 % izopropyl alkoholu or rastlinného etanolu. After the remaining alcohol has evaporated, the packaging is ready for filling. Always follow hygiene principles when working, use clean tools and minimise contact of the inner surface with your hands.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass body can generally be placed in the collection container intended for glass after you have removed any remaining contents. Any plastic or metal parts of the closure should be sorted according to local rules for separated collection. Before recycling, it is appropriate to at least roughly rinse the bottle so that product residues do not remain in the waste.
The simplest way to choose a suitable bottle or jar is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter in the upper part of the page, where you can sort the products by parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can quickly filter out the packaging that will correspond to the required dosing, appearance and character of your product.
