The glass bottle with dropper is a professional packaging intended for precise dosing of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in laboratory and craft formulations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise dropper, it is suitable for filling preparations for which controlled drop-by-drop dosing and protection of the stability of their composition during storage and use are important. The dark glass helps to reduce light penetration to the contents, thereby helping to protect sensitive formulations.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then thoroughly disinfecting them. For disinfection, you can use for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for this purpose, such as the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, let the packaging air out and dry well so that no residues of alcohol remain inside, then you can proceed to filling with the final product.
The glass packaging can be safely reused if hygienic principles are observed. With each product change or new batch, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and, before refilling, disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. In this way you minimize the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable interaction between residues of the original product and the new formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend assigning it to sorted waste collection according to the material stated in the product parameters on the site. The glass body of the bottle is usually thrown into the container for sorted glass after emptying and basic rinsing. The closure and the dropper may contain a combination of plastic and rubber parts, therefore we recommend separating them from the glass and sorting them according to local waste collection rules (plastic, or mixed waste if there is no other option). The dropper bottle is ideal for liquid and low-viscosity preparations where dosing drop by drop or in small quantities is important. In practice, these are mainly facial and oil serums, intensive oils, active concentrates, aromatherapeutic blends and perfume compositions. For thicker or gel formulations, it is advisable to carry out a dosing test before serial filling to verify that the dropper allows smooth outflow and precise application.
