In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and preserve the quality of the new filling.

Before re-use we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent or with warm water and a gentle detergent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards, the packaging and the dropper must be disinfected – for example by rinsing or spraying with alcohol such as isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol from the Handymade.sk range. After the alcohol has evaporated and the bottle has completely dried, it is ready for new filling. For sensitive formulations we recommend carrying out a trial stability test of the product in the container prepared in this way.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to recycle it responsibly. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, in a container intended for glass according to local waste-sorting rules. The dropper, consisting of a mixture of materials (for example plastic, rubber, possibly metal components), usually needs to be disposed of in mixed or special waste according to the recommendations of your municipality.
