This bottle is a standalone packaging that is combined on Handymade with a suitable dropper. The glass bottles themselves are generally compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the packaging category. Is this glass bottle suitable for thicker oil serums and facial oils?

Yes, the bottle with dropper is suitable for common oil serums and facial oils. The dropper allows comfortable drop-by-drop dosing, which is ideal for concentrated formulations. For very thick oils or multi-phase blends we recommend testing the dosing in advance to verify smooth flow and comfortable use.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be reused provided that correct hygiene principles are followed. Before every new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean both the bottle and the dropper and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol, for example with IPA or ethanol products available on Handymade (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/, /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/). This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of your new formulation.

How should I properly clean the bottle and dropper before the next use?

First mechanically remove the residues of the original product using warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that is compatible with the raw materials used. Then rinse both the bottle and the dropper with clean water, ideally demineralised water. After drying, disinfect the packaging by applying alcohol (for example IPA or ethanol from the Handymade range) and allow it to evaporate completely before refilling. Make sure that no water or cleaning agent residues remain inside, as these could affect the stability of the new formulation.

How can I dispose of or recycle the glass bottle and dropper in an environmentally friendly way if I do not want to use them further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed, after emptying and basic cleaning, in a container intended for glass. The dropper consists of several components (e.g. plastic, rubber, possibly glass), so separate it by material as far as possible and sort it according to local waste collection rules.
