The glass bottle with matte silver dropper represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid formulations where precise and hygienic application is important. The combination of clear glass and a dropper with a practical pipette allows convenient dosing of drops as well as smaller volumes and is suitable for both home and professional use in cosmetics and other segments.
Thanks to the durable glass, this bottle is a stable container for serums, oils or concentrates, where good visibility of the contents and control of its amount are required. The dropper supports gentle, economical use of products and is ideal for formulations that are applied locally or in small quantities.
This glass bottle is supplied as a complete set with dropper, and the neck type itself makes it compatible with various types of closures and dispensing solutions available in the Handymade range – for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators according to the selected parameters of the specific packaging.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, proper dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling we recommend thoroughly washing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. Afterwards the packaging must be disinfected – for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which are suitable for disinfecting packaging before filling. After treatment with alcohol, allow the bottle and the dropper to dry thoroughly at room temperature.
Glass bottles are generally suitable for most cosmetic products on a water or oil basis, for serums, oils and aromatic blends. For particularly aggressive or atypical formulations (very low or high pH, high solvent content, etc.), we recommend performing your own stability and compatibility test to verify the long-term behaviour of the product in contact with the glass and the dropper components (pipette, seal, rubber part).
The bottle can be used repeatedly, provided it is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between individual fillings. Clear glass is easy to wash and does not retain odour to the same extent as some plastics, but we still recommend paying particular attention to the dropper and all parts that come into contact with the product. Before refilling, always wash the packaging, rinse, allow it to dry and disinfect it – for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant-based ethanol. This will minimize the risk of microbial contamination and the transfer of fragrance or residues of the previous product.
When using the dropper, squeeze the bulb, immerse the pipette in the product and release the bulb so that the pipette fills. Then drip the contents into a clean palm, directly onto the skin or into the target container as needed. For more viscous oils, drip more slowly; for thinner, watery serums, dosing can be more continuous. For consistent dosing we recommend always holding the pipette in a vertical position and closing the dropper tightly after use in order to minimize the contact of the contents with air.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste separation rules. The glass container should be separated from the dropper closure: the bottle itself is usually placed in the container designated for glass collection, while the remaining components (plastic, rubber, any metal parts) are sorted according to their material composition as specified in the product parameters. Before recycling we recommend rinsing the bottle to remove product residues. Always follow the specific recycling instructions given in the parameter table for the respective product on the Handymade website and the local waste sorting rules.
To make it easier to select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter directly in the packaging categories on Handymade. After clicking on the relevant category (for example glass bottles, medicine bottles, jars, etc.), you will find the filter in the upper part of the page. There you can sort products according to key parameters – in particular according to the type of neck, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the range to packaging that best matches your product and the desired dosing method.
