The glass bottle represents a reliable and hygienic packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid formulations that require precise and controlled dosing using a dropper. Thanks to the stable glass and the high-quality closure with dropper, this packaging is ideal for products where protection of the contents, easy application and professional presentation of the final product are important.
This practical dropper vial is suitable for packing cosmetic serums, active ingredients, concentrated blends and aromatic oils. The glass material contributes to a long shelf life of the contents and helps to minimize interactions between the formulation and the packaging, which is especially important for sensitive components and concentrated extracts.
This packaging is supplied as a functional unit – glass bottle with closure and dropper, which ensures practical and controlled dosing of liquid products. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle, the cap and the dropper. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available in our range (IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol, Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based). Only after thorough drying is the bottle ready for reuse.
First we recommend mechanical cleaning with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water, while disassembling the bottle, cap and dropper into individual parts. After rinsing with clean water, disinfection follows, for example by rinsing or spraying with alcohol with a high alcohol content (e.g. the IPA 99% or Ethanol 96% products from our range). After disinfection, allow all components to drain thoroughly and dry completely at room temperature, and only then refill the bottle.
Before recycling we recommend emptying the bottle and removing any remaining contents. The glass container should be placed in a container designated for glass according to local waste sorting rules. The closure and the dropper, which are usually made of plastic and rubber, should be recycled according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local recycling rules – as a rule it is necessary to separate the glass part from the plastic-rubber components. If you are in doubt, follow the information given in the product parameter table and the recommendations of your collection yard or municipality.
The bottle with dropper is particularly suitable for products that require precise drop-by-drop dosing – for example facial and eye serums, concentrated oil blends, intensive active ingredients, aromatherapeutic oils or test concentrates. Thanks to the dropper you have control over the amount of product applied and you minimize both waste and contamination of the contents.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently filter according to several parameters – for example according to the type of neck, size, colour or material of the packaging. Thanks to the combination of these criteria you will easily choose a bottle, jar or other packaging that will correspond to the specific product as well as to your production and design requirements.
Before launching the product on the market, we recommend performing your own compatibility test. Fill the bottle with a small test sample of your formulation and observe the behaviour of the packaging – tightness of the closure, functionality of the dropper, change in colour or odour of the contents and any interaction with the material. Carry out the test under the storage conditions that you plan to recommend to your customers. Only after successful testing is it appropriate to proceed to filling the entire series.
