The glass bottle with dropper is a practical packaging material ideal for the precise dosing of cosmetic and technical solutions. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the integrated dropper, the packaging is suitable for filling liquid preparations that require controlled application drop by drop, whether it is a serum, an oil or a concentrated solution.
This type of bottle is popular for the production of natural cosmetics, aromatherapeutic blends and homemade specialized formulations. Glass is a solid, chemically stable material that, when used correctly, helps minimize interactions between the packaging and the contents, while the dropper enables hygienic and economical application without unnecessary product waste.
This glass bottle is supplied as packaging with a functional dropper, and the combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and drying both the bottle and the dropper. It is then appropriate to disinfect the entire packaging, including the inside of the bottle, with a suitable alcohol solution, for example with products available on Handymade: IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill the packaging with the prepared product.
The bottle can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. At each change of contents or after the original product has been used up, we recommend completely emptying the packaging, disassembling it, cleaning it carefully and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after all parts of the bottle have completely dried is the packaging ready for further safe use.
After filling the bottle, attach the dropper, close the closure tightly and, before use, gently turn the bottle upside down. Release the drops by gradually tilting or gently pressing the rubber part of the dropper, depending on the type of solution. We recommend first testing the dripping rate on a small sample so that you can adjust the pressure and the angle of the bottle to the needs of your specific product and achieve consistent and controlled dosing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, sort its individual parts according to the material specified in the product parameter. After emptying and basic rinsing, place the glass bottle in the glass collection according to local waste-sorting rules. The dropper and closure, which may contain plastic, rubber or composite materials, should be disassembled into as many parts as possible and placed in the appropriate collection according to the locally available infrastructure. For specific composite materials, follow the recommendations of your local recycling system in order to minimize the environmental impact.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the advanced filter you can narrow down the range according to neck type, required size, colour and packaging material. This way you will quickly find the bottle, medicine bottle or jar that will best match your product, dosing method and design requirements.
