The glass bottle in a black glossy finish represents an elegant and professional packaging for cosmetic formulations and other specialist applications where protection of the contents and a representative appearance are important. Thanks to the high-quality glass, it is suitable for filling various liquid formulations that require a stable environment and reliable closure. The dark, opaque glass also helps to limit the penetration of light to the contents, thereby supporting the preservation of the quality of sensitive substances.
The black medicine bottle is intended for small doses of products where precise application and long-term storage are crucial. In combination with a suitable type of closure or dispensing element, it creates a functional packaging system that is suitable for artisanal as well as semi-professional production.
The glass bottle itself is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators – according to the parameters selected when ordering. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass bottle is generally very suitable for formulations containing alcohol as well as essential oils, because glass has good chemical resistance and minimizes interactions with the contents. However, it is always recommended to carry out your own stability test of the specific recipe in the selected packaging, in order to verify long-term compatibility, fragrance, colour and behaviour of the product during storage.
Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After thorough drying, the bottle is ready for further use with a new batch of product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass bottle should be placed in the appropriate container for separated glass collection. The plastic closure or dispensing element (if you use one) should be sorted separately according to the plastic designation on the respective component. For larger quantities, it is advisable to also follow the recommendations of the local waste collection system.
When filling the glass bottle, we recommend working in a clean environment and using suitable tools for dosing, in order to minimize contamination of the contents. Before first use and repeated filling, it is important to clean and disinfect the packaging and then allow it to dry completely. During storage, follow the recommendations for the specific product (for example, protect from heat or direct sunlight). Do not overfill the bottle and check that the closure is evenly tightened so that the sealing is reliable.
