Transparent milky glass bottle with aluminium top represents a universal packaging suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous preparations where cleanliness, stability and a professional appearance of the final product are important. The transparent milky glass allows visual control of the contents, while at the same time it looks elegant and enhances the perceived value of the packed product. In combination with a metal closure, it creates a reliable, aesthetic and practical bottle for cosmetics, aromatherapy and laboratory formulations.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or content of aromatic oils).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be reused provided you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature and only then fill it with a new product.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend cleaning it from any remaining contents and recycling it according to the material indicated in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. The glass body of the bottle is normally placed in the container intended for glass, the metal aluminium closure belongs to metals (according to local waste collection rules). Before recycling, always check the product parameters to be sure which type of collection container the individual parts of the packaging belong to.
Glass packaging is generally very well tolerated by formulations containing essential oils, aromatic substances or alcohol, because glass is chemically stable and does not react with most common cosmetic raw materials. Nevertheless, we recommend performing a stability test for each new recipe – fill a small volume of the product into the bottle, monitor any changes in fragrance, colour or viscosity and verify whether the selected type of closure or dropper seals and doses correctly.
When filling cosmetics into the glass pharma bottle, make sure that the packaging is clean, disinfected and completely dry. Fill the product at the temperature recommended by your formulation to prevent condensation from forming on the walls and under the closure. After filling, close the bottle tightly and store it in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. This will support the stability of the fragrance, colour and texture of the stored preparations and prolong their usability.
On Handymade, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. With the help of the filter, you can quickly choose packaging according to key parameters – for example according to the type of neck, required size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can easily find a suitable bottle, pharma bottle, jar or dispenser for a specific formulation or product line and conveniently compare several options within one category.
