The glass vial, tall, white glossy dropper is a practical packaging material designed for the safe packaging of low viscosity liquids where material stability and controlled dispensing are important. Glass is inert and also suitable for mixtures with active ingredients, so it is well suited for serums, oil mixtures, extracts or aromatic concentrates. Because it is a dark glass, the packaging significantly reduces light transmission, which helps protect sensitive ingredients from degradation during normal storage. According to the enclosed Quality Certificate, the packaging is suitable for direct contact with foodstuffs.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behavior in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
We recommend using the advanced filter, which can be found at the top of the page by clicking on the relevant category. You can filter by: neck, size, colour and material - this will quickly narrow your selection to packaging compatible with your closure and product type.
Yes. According to the enclosed Quality Certificate, the packaging is suitable for direct contact with food, so it is also suitable for tinctures, liquid nutritional supplements and extracts intended for internal use.
The dropper is particularly suited to low viscosity liquids where you need to dispense by the drop or in small batches - for example serums, oils, extracts and flavour concentrates. For thicker products, we always recommend testing the dosage in practice.
Yes, the packaging can be reused as long as hygiene guidelines are followed. The packaging should be cleaned and disinfected before refilling - for example, IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable ethanol are suitable choices.
We recommend doing your own leak test with the specific formulation, checking the cleanliness of the threads and seating surfaces, and using secondary packaging (e.g., bag or filler) when transporting. For mixtures with a higher proportion of volatile components, a compatibility test is particularly important.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Dispose of the glass vial in a glass container. If possible, separate the different parts of the dropper: sort the glass pipette as glass and classify the other components according to local packaging sorting rules (plastics/metals). If the components cannot be safely separated, follow your municipality's guidelines for combined packaging materials.
