The glass vial, tall, with black glossy dropper is a practical container for accurate dosing of liquid and low viscosity products. The stability of the glass makes it suitable for formulations where it is important to maintain purity of fragrance and formulation without unwanted effects of the packaging on the contents. The dark glass significantly limits light transmission, thus promoting the stability of sensitive ingredients (e.g. antioxidants, plant extracts or light-sensitive actives). For this product, food grade is also specified in the parameters, making the packaging suitable for selected food applications.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend to perform your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

For food applications, we recommend that care is taken to ensure the cleanliness of the packaging, the appropriate choice of closure and always test the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific contents (especially the seal and practical dispensing).
Dark glass significantly limits light transmission, helping to reduce the risk of degradation of light-sensitive ingredients. It is particularly suitable for products with antioxidants, plant extracts or active ingredients where stability during storage is important.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. The packaging should be cleaned and disinfected before each refill - for example, IPA 99% (ALK001) or Ethanol 96% (ALK002) may be a suitable choice. Then allow the packaging to dry completely and refill until dry.
When selecting, take into account the type of application (dripping) and the characteristics of the filling (e.g. oil or alcohol base, presence of flavourings). Even with tested combinations, we recommend a self-test for compatibility: check the seal, recapping behaviour and dispensing functionality at the actual viscosity of the product.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. As the packaging material is listed as glass in the parameters, please take the empty and rinsed vial to a glass collection service according to local regulations. Sort the cap and dropper separately by the material listed in the product parameters (e.g. plastic, metal) if your collection system allows it.
