The glass vial, tall, black-gold atomizer, smoke top is a practical container designed for convenient and hygienic dispensing of liquid products in spray form, especially where clean application and even application are important. Thanks to the dark glass, it helps to naturally limit light exposure to sensitive ingredients, which will be appreciated for formulations with actives, fragrances or extracts. The glass material is stable, does not affect the fragrance or character of the contents, and the packaging meets both cosmetic and food-grade quality.
The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass vial meets both cosmetic and food quality. For food applications, we recommend taking care of hygiene, choosing the appropriate closure according to the type of product and doing your own test of the packaging's behaviour in contact with the specific filling.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each filling, the packaging should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), then allowed to dry completely and filled until dry. For disinfection you can use IPA 99% or Ethanol 96%: IPA 99% (ALK001) or Ethanol 96% (ALK002).
For solutions with ingredients that can form deposits, we recommend keeping the neck and thread clean and not letting product residue dry on the dispensing parts. If you are changing refills, it is advisable to clean, disinfect and allow the container to dry completely before refilling.
Dark glass helps limit light exposure to sensitive ingredients, but it is ideal to store products in a dry place, out of direct sunlight and at a stable temperature. For a reliable seal, keep the neck clean and always close the container properly.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Take the glass bottle, empty and rinsed, to a glass collection centre according to local regulations. Separate the dispensing portion by material (plastic and metal) if your collection system allows, to encourage more efficient recycling of the individual components.
