The glass vial, tall with silver frosted dropper is a practical packaging material for accurate dosing and safe storage of liquid and low-viscosity products. Naturally, the dark glass helps to limit light (UV) exposure to sensitive ingredients, which promotes stability of formulations during storage. The material stability of glass makes the vial suitable for formulations where you want to minimize odor transfer and maintain consistent quality of contents. The packaging is food grade.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging is also suitable for tinctures, extracts and liquid nutritional supplements. When filling, we recommend working with a clean and dry container and verifying the seal under real-world use.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), then allowed to dry completely.
For example, IPA 99% (ALK001) or ethanol 96% (ALK002) can be used for disinfection. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely and fill into a dry container.
When selecting, consider the viscosity and composition of the product (e.g., oil or alcohol base, volatile components, flavorings). We recommend doing a test fill to test the seal, dosage and cleanliness of the dosing surfaces in real use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Take the glass bottle to the glass collection. Sort the metal parts into metals, the plastic parts into plastics according to local rules. Take silicone parts to the collection options in your municipality; if separate collection is not available, follow local guidelines for mixed waste. Before sorting, empty the packaging and rinse if necessary.
