Sodium PCA is a natural humectant found naturally in the human body. It has high absorption properties, it is even hygroscopic, i.e. it can absorb moisture from the air. It can also bind moisture to cells.

Uses: Since it adds moisture to the skin and hair, it is mainly used in hair cosmetics (moisturisers, conditioners), added to shampoos, hair sprays, skin fresheners and other hair and skin care products.

Sodium PCA is water soluble.

Application: 1-10%
