Product description

Spectrastat™ G2 Natural MB is a plant-derived combination of multifunctional ingredients that makes it possible to create self-preserving natural formulations. It is effective in facial and hair care products, cleansing products, emulsions, wipes and colour cosmetics.

It has a broad-spectrum activity against bacteria (gram +/-), yeasts and moulds.

As the only natural preservative so far, it is effective at pH 4 - 8 at a dosage of 1.5 - 2 %. It has no impact on the colour and scent of the final products.

It is oil-soluble. It is added in the cooling phase.

It is not compatible with ingredients containing iron, which applies to most clays. It is one of the few preservatives compatible with Emulsense HC.

The preservative Spectrastat G2 Natural MB is free from parabens, formaldehyde, MIT, phenoxyethanol and other traditional preservatives.
It contains 100 % ingredients of natural origin and is certified by the USDA BioPreferred® program.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling.
