The plastic jar with pink lid is a practical and aesthetic container suitable for packaging various solid and semi-liquid products. Thanks to its reliable closure and stable shape, it is ideal for home and professional use in cosmetics and artisan production. The packaging is designed to be pleasant to use, easy to fill and to ensure protection of the stored product during storage and transport.
Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, the behaviour of the lid during repeated opening and closing, as well as the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (pH, content of oils, alcohols or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the jar is suitable for thick creamy formulations, buttery balms, ointments as well as solid or semi-solid products. The wider opening of the container makes it easier to fill and to take out the product with fingers or a spatula, while closing with the lid helps to protect the contents from external impurities. For very soft or sensitive formulations, we recommend testing the texture stability in the packaging at different storage temperatures.
The jar can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example with isopropyl alcohol (ALK001) or with denatured ethanol (ALK002). Carry out the disinfection on a dry and clean surface of the packaging, observe the recommended contact time and only then refill the jar, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the product.
Before filling, we recommend preparing a clean work surface, disinfected tools and clean hands or gloves. Fill the product into the jar at a stage when it has a suitable consistency for dosing (not too hot and not too firm), in order to prevent the formation of bubbles and irregularities. Depending on the type of formulation, use a funnel, dosing gun, syringe or spatula. Close the lid only when the product has reached room temperature, which reduces the risk of moisture condensation on the inner side of the lid.
If you decide not to use the jar any further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. The method of recycling depends on the material specified in the parameter table on the product page – according to this, assign the packaging to the appropriate sorted waste stream (for example, a plastic container to the plastics container). Sort the lid and the body of the jar according to their material marking if they differ. If the local packaging collection system requires additional steps, follow the instructions of the local collection system so that recycling is as effective as possible.
To make it easier to select packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the chosen packaging material category. In the advanced filter you can customise the product display according to several parameters – in particular according to neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to find bottles, jars or other containers that correspond to your formulation and desired design more quickly. For specific requirements, it is worth combining filtering with viewing the detailed parameters of each product.
