The frosted glass bottle with a black dropper is a practical packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid cosmetic products, concentrated blends and homemade formulations. High-quality glass provides good chemical resistance, which makes the bottle suitable for filling products containing oils, alcohols or active ingredients, where stability and safe storage are important.
The frosted finish creates a professional appearance and helps protect more sensitive components from light. The integrated dropper enables controlled and hygienic drop-by-drop dosing, which you will appreciate for serums, essential oils, intensive concentrates and everywhere else where precise application without contamination of the contents is crucial.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters – for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure of optimal performance for your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, high-quality glass is generally suitable for products containing essential oils, fragrance compositions or alcohol, because it is chemically stable and does not react with common cosmetic ingredients. However, before introducing it into production, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of the formulation, observe the behaviour of the packaging material, the sealing of the dropper and the stability of the product over time.
The glass packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and aired off is the bottle ready to be refilled.
We recommend first mechanically removing any residues of the original product, then rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing well. After washing, allow the packaging to dry and then disinfect it with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %). For the dropper it is important to soak both the pipette and the rubber part so that residues of oils or serums are removed. After disinfection, leave all components to air-dry at room temperature.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part should be emptied, possibly rinsed, and placed in the container designated for glass. The dropper consists of several components (glass, plastic, rubber), which should ideally be separated where possible and sorted by material type in accordance with local waste sorting rules. Always follow the recommendations of your municipality and the information for each material in the parameter table on the product page.
To make it easier to choose the packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can clearly set parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour and material. By filtering you can quickly narrow down the offer to bottles, medicine bottles or jars that meet the requirements of your specific product and make it easier to compare several suitable solutions.
