Glass bottle with dropper represents a professional solution for dispensing liquid cosmetic and galenic preparations where precise and controlled drop-by-drop application is required. The smooth surface and high-quality glass workmanship give it a representative appearance, thanks to which it is suitable for small brands as well as artisanal production.
This type of packaging is ideal for filling serums, active concentrates, oil blends and other preparations for which purity, stability and protection of the contents against external influences are important. Glass is a material with high chemical resistance, which helps minimize interactions between the formulation and the packaging and supports the long-term stability of the product.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Before first use we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (rinsing with a suitable detergent and drinking water) and then disinfecting it. For disinfection it is suitable to use alcohol solutions, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. In the range you will find for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, let the packaging drain and dry thoroughly, and only then proceed to filling.
Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. We recommend repeated use only if you can ensure consistent hygiene and the packaging is not mechanically damaged.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table for the product. The glass bottle can usually be placed in a container intended for glass after emptying and rough cleaning. The closure with dropper is made from a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly glass), so before recycling it, separate it into individual parts where possible and sort them according to local waste management rules.
The glass dropper bottle is ideal for products that require precise dosing in small amounts – for example intensive facial and eye serums, concentrated oil blends, treatment cures for the skin, hair serums, aromatherapeutic oils and other preparations where control of the number of drops is important. You will also use it for test samples and smaller packs of premium products.
The easiest way is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category (for example glass bottles, medicine bottles or plastic packaging) you will find at the top of the page the option to filter according to several parameters. You can choose a specific neck, size, colour and packaging material, which allows you to quickly find bottles, jars or containers that best match your formulation and the intended method of dosing.
For thicker or highly viscous formulations it is advisable first to test the passability of the dropper and the dosing speed on a small amount of product. We recommend working at room temperature, filling slowly and avoiding clogging of the inside of the pipette or the opening of the dropper with undissolved particles. For very thick products it may be more suitable to choose another type of packaging or dosing, for example a pump.
