The glass bottle with dropper is a practical and professional-looking packaging solution designed primarily for the precise dispensing of liquid formulations. It is particularly suitable for cosmetic and laboratory use, where control of the amount of product applied and reliable closure of the contents are important.
Thanks to the high-quality glass and dropper closure, this bottle is ideal for filling serums, oils, essences and other liquid preparations that require dropwise dosing and minimisation of the contact of the contents with the external environment.
Such glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The dropper bottle is primarily intended for low to medium viscosity liquids such as facial serums, light oils and watery solutions. With more viscous oils, dosing may be slower – it is recommended to carry out a trial with your specific formulation to verify smooth dripping and the dropper’s ability to draw the liquid back up.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle, dropper and rubber part must be thoroughly rinsed with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsed with water and then disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then refill the packaging.
To maintain the stability of formulations, we recommend storing the bottle well closed, in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Avoid frequent opening and contact of the neck with the skin in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For sensitive active ingredients it is suitable to store the product in a cupboard or drawer and to use it within the recommended shelf life.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with the recommendation specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and rinsed, is usually disposed of in the container designated for glass. The closure with dropper (plastic and rubber parts, possibly a metal ring) should be separated and sorted according to the material type recommended in the parameter table – usually into plastic collection or mixed waste if the local recycling system does not allow other sorting. Always follow local waste sorting rules and the information provided for the specific product on Handymade.sk.
