The clear plastic jar with white lid is a universal container designed for neat and aesthetic packaging of creams, butters, gels or powder blends. Thanks to the transparent body of the container, you have an immediate visual overview of the contents, which makes it easier to check the consistency and quantity of the product, and the solid lid helps protect the formulation from contamination from the external environment.
The jar is suitable for packaging thicker and semi-liquid cosmetic preparations as well as loose blends, where good handling and practical dispensing are important. Thanks to the stable plastic material, this packaging is ideal for both home and professional formulations where emphasis is placed on safe storage and hygiene during use.
Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. This means that the jar is supplied with a lid that has been selected with regard to reliable sealing and practical use with common cosmetic formulations. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the behaviour of the packaging during transport and the reaction of the specific formulation to long-term contact with the material used.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. When designing formulations and planning storage, we recommend always basing your work on this data and verifying the suitability of the packaging for the specific consistency and product type.
Yes, the jar is suitable for packaging thicker creams, balms and butters, where a wider opening is needed for comfortable scooping of the product. The wide opening of the container ensures comfortable use even with dense formulations, while the solid lid helps maintain the texture and cleanliness of the contents throughout the entire period of use.
The jar can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are followed. Before refilling, the container must always be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent cross-contamination between the old and new product. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, and allowing the packaging to dry completely before further use.
First mechanically remove any product residues and wash the jar in lukewarm water with a suitable detergent. Take care to rinse all parts thoroughly, including the threads and the inner side of the lid. After washing, allow the container to dry, then disinfect it with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99% or 96% plant-based ethanol). After disinfection, all parts must be allowed to dry completely in a clean and dust-free place before refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the product parameters and on the recycling label of the packaging. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to remove any product residues from the container and, if necessary, briefly rinse it to facilitate further processing. Then place the packaging in the container intended for the respective type of plastic according to local waste sorting rules, thereby supporting a more environmentally friendly approach.
