Transparent milky glass bottle with aluminium cap represents a universal packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous preparations where purity, stability and a professional appearance of the final product are important. The transparent milky glass allows visual control of the contents, while at the same time looking elegant and enhancing the perceived value of the packed product. In combination with the metal closure, this creates a reliable, aesthetic and practical bottle for cosmetics, aromatherapy and laboratory formulations.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the offer. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or content of aromatic oils).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be reused provided that you follow basic hygiene rules. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use products available on Handymade, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill it with a new product.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend cleaning it from any product residues and recycling it according to the material indicated in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. The glass body of the bottle is normally placed in the container designated for glass, and the metal aluminium closure belongs with metals (according to local waste collection rules). Before recycling, always check the product parameters to be sure which type of collection container the individual parts of the packaging belong to.
Glass packaging is generally very well tolerated by formulations containing essential oils, aromatic substances or alcohol, because glass is chemically stable and does not react with most common cosmetic raw materials. Nevertheless, we recommend carrying out a stability test for every new formula – fill a small volume of the product into the bottle, monitor any changes in fragrance, colour or viscosity and verify whether the selected type of cap or dropper seals and doses correctly.
When filling cosmetics into the glass pharmaceutical bottle, make sure that the packaging is clean, disinfected and completely dry. Fill the product at the temperature recommended by your formula in order to prevent condensation forming on the walls and under the closure. After filling, close the bottle tightly and store it in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This will support the stability of the fragrance, colour and texture of the stored preparations and extend their usability.
On Handymade you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can quickly select packaging according to key parameters – for example according to the type of neck, the required size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can easily find a suitable bottle, pharmaceutical bottle, jar or dispenser for a specific formula or product line and conveniently compare several options within one category.
