Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the pipette closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying can the packaging be refilled in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the formulation.

For what type of products is this pipette bottle most suitable?

The bottle is ideal for products that are used in small amounts and require precise dropwise dosing. Typical uses include facial and eye serums, intensive treatment concentrates, active solutions with acids, oil elixirs, aromatherapeutic blends and test samples of new formulations. How to properly clean the glass bottle and pipette before further use?

First we recommend rinsing the bottle and pipette mechanically with warm water and a mild cleaning agent to remove residues of the original product. After drying, disinfection is necessary – treat the inner surface of the bottle and the parts of the pipette that come into contact with the contents with an alcohol-based disinfectant solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After complete evaporation of the alcohol, the packaging is ready for new filling.

How to safely recycle the packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can, after emptying and rough cleaning, be sorted into the container intended for glass. The pipette closure usually consists of several materials (plastic, rubber, possibly glass), so before recycling, if possible, separate it into individual parts and sort them according to local waste sorting rules. In case of any doubt, follow the recommendations in your municipality and the material information in the parameter table next to the product.
