FAQ – Most frequent questions

Can this glass bottle be reused?

Yes, the bottle can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after the disinfectant has completely dried and evaporated is the bottle ready for refilling.

For which type of products is this packaging most suitable?

The bottle is ideal for smaller volumes of liquid cosmetic preparations such as facial and body serums, booster blends, special treatments, active concentrates or cosmetic oils. It can also be used for pilot batches, samples and auxiliary solutions used in the development and testing of new formulations.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and prepared before first and repeated use?

Before first and repeated use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing any possible impurities and then disinfecting it. In practice, rinsing with an alcohol-based disinfectant solution has proven effective, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, the packaging must be left to drain freely and dry completely so that no residues of the cleaning agent or moisture remain.

How can this glass packaging be safely disposed of and recycled if I no longer want to use it?

If you do not plan to use the bottle further, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you sort it into separated waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. Glass parts are usually disposed of in glass recycling containers, and the cap must be separated and sorted according to its material (for example plastic or metal). By recycling you help reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
