Product description
Glass dropper bottle, white, 10 ml
This is a ready-made set consisting of a white glass vial with a nominal volume of 10 ml and a white glossy dropper that fits the bottle precisely. The set is designed for precise dosing of small volumes of liquid preparations – primarily facial serums, oil blends, concentrates with active ingredients, diluted essential oils, or testing samples. No additional parts are needed and no combinations need to be tried: the bottle and cap are matched in both colour and thread, and once filled, the packaging is ready for use or sale.
White opaque glass does not transmit light, so it protects light-sensitive contents similarly to brown or blue glass, while appearing clean and neutral, and suits both white and coloured labels well. The dropper allows you to dispense exactly as much preparation as needed, without the remaining contents coming into contact with fingers.
Why choose this set
- Light protection – white glass is opaque, so the contents remain protected from light, which is particularly valuable for oils, vitamin serums, and preparations with essential oils.
- Precise dosing – the dropper allows dispensing drop by drop, which is practical for concentrated serums or oils where only a small amount is used per application.
- Hygienic use – the contents are not scooped with a finger or poured over the rim, which reduces the risk of contaminating the preparation during everyday use.
- Matched design – the white bottle and white glossy dropper form a coherent unit that looks neat even without additional decoration.
- Glass resistance to contents – glass does not react with oils, essential oils, or alcohol-based preparations, making it suitable even for contents that could damage some plastics over time.
What the set is suitable for
A volume of 10 ml is suitable where a preparation is used drop by drop or where a trial amount is needed:
- facial serums and concentrates with active ingredients, applied in small amounts;
- facial and nail oils, oil blends for the skin around the eyes or décolletage area;
- diluted essential oils and fragrance blends in a carrier oil;
- samples and testers of products before launching a larger size;
- small batches of home-made preparations where you want to track dosing precisely.
For water-based preparations applied in larger amounts (tonics, hydrolates), the dropper is less practical – a spray or larger bottle is more suitable.
Nominal and total volume
The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for during regular filling. The total volume to the brim is the physical capacity of the bottle up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference between them provides a margin for the glass tube of the dropper, which reaches into the contents when screwed on, and for slight expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim – otherwise the contents would overflow when the dropper is fitted.
Fill the bottle only to the nominal volume and fit the dropper after filling. When filling oils and serums with higher viscosity, we recommend using a small funnel or dosing syringe to keep the neck clean and ensure the thread seals properly.
How the dropper works
The dropper consists of a screw-on plastic cap, a soft silicone bulb, and a glass tube. Pressing the bulb expels the air; when released, the tube fills with contents, and gentle subsequent pressing dispenses the preparation drop by drop. For correct function it is important that the set is tightened enough to seal, but not excessively – over-tightening can damage the glass thread.
The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products; the declaration of conformity is available with the product. This set is not approved for contact with foodstuffs, so it is not suitable for edible oils, syrups, or tinctures intended for internal use.
Good to know
- Preparation before first filling – we recommend washing both the bottle and dropper, disinfecting with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allowing to dry completely. Residual water could affect the stability of anhydrous preparations.
- Reuse – the glass can be washed and reused after emptying. The silicone bulb of the dropper may soften or become discoloured after prolonged contact with concentrated essential oils; check its condition before reusing.
- Labelling – the bottle has a smooth cylindrical body to which a label adheres easily. The white glass colour also allows the use of transparent labels.
- Material sensitivity – glass tolerates sudden temperature changes and falls onto hard surfaces poorly. Preparations should be filled when cooled, not hot.
- Content compatibility – for preparations with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend verifying the dropper's behaviour on a test sample before using it for the whole batch.
- Recycling – the glass bottle can be sorted as glass after emptying; the dropper is made of several materials and should be sorted separately.
The set is not approved for contact with foodstuffs. Use it only for cosmetic preparations and technical purposes.
