The glass bottle with white black-silver dropper represents a professional packaging suitable for the precise dispensing of liquid formulations where control over the amount of product applied is important. High-quality glass in combination with the dropper enables clean, hygienic and very precise dosing without unnecessary wasting of the contents. This type of dropper bottle is ideal for storing and applying concentrated preparations that require reliable and stable packaging.
This packaging is supplied as a combination of glass bottle and dropper closure, which is designed for convenient and precise drop-by-drop dosing. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for formulations with a high content of acids, alcohols or essential oils.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass is generally a very suitable material for products containing essential oils, as it is chemically stable and, when used correctly, minimises the risk of interaction with the substances contained. However, we recommend always performing your own compatibility test of the specific formulation with the dropper (rubber part, insert and seal), especially at high concentrations of essential oils, in order to verify flawless dosing and long-term sealing.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example with technical isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely on a clean surface and make sure that no residues of the original product or the cleaning agent remain.
First mechanically remove the residues of the original product and rinse the packaging with a suitable soapy or detergent solution. Rinse the glass part thoroughly with clean water. We then recommend disinfection with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Clean the dropper gently so as not to damage the rubber part or the pipette, and after disinfection let all components air-dry at room temperature on a clean, non-absorbent surface.
If you decide not to continue using the bottle and the dropper, we recommend recycling them according to the type of material indicated in the product parameters. The glass part of the packaging, after thorough emptying and rinsing, is usually placed in the container intended for glass. The dropper may be made of a combination of materials (glass, plastic, rubber), so it is advisable to separate them where possible and sort them in accordance with local waste sorting rules. Always follow the information in the product parameter table and the recommendations of your waste management provider.
