The plastic bottle with smooth cap and reducer insert is a practical and reliable packaging for various liquid products where controlled and clean dosing is important. Thanks to the reducer insert, it is suitable for filling preparations where a smooth flow is desired without spillage and unnecessary waste of the contents.
This compact bottle is ideal for cosmetic and hobby formulations where good protection of the contents, convenient handling and easy application are required. The smooth cap supports the professional appearance of the finished product and at the same time makes marking, labelling and branding easier according to the needs of your brand.
Plastic bottles of this type are compatible with various types of caps and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Packaging and cap combinations created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol or oil content).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Use of the bottle for products containing alcohol or active ingredients depends on the overall composition of the specific formulation. Before final implementation, we recommend performing a trial filling and a short-term stress test (contact with the contents, closing, dosing, storage) to verify the stability of the material, the sealing of the cap and the behaviour of the mixture in the packaging. For highly concentrated or atypical formulations it is also appropriate to carry out longer-term observation.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or denatured ethanol Ethanol 96 % plant-based. After disinfection, let the inner walls dry completely and only then refill the packaging. It is also recommended to keep the bottle dedicated to one product type (e.g. only watery toners) in order to minimize the risk of residues from previous formulations.
For cleaning we recommend a mild dishwashing detergent and lukewarm water, followed by thorough rinsing and disinfection with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. Plastic packaging in general is not intended to be exposed to extremely high temperatures – therefore avoid boiling, long-term exposure to hot water or overheating in drying devices. Such a procedure can lead to shape changes, affect the tightness of the cap and thus the safety of the stored product.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible and removing any product residues. Then clean the packaging from coarse impurities and dispose of it in accordance with the recycling recommendations resulting from the material specified in the parameters of the specific product on the website. Follow local waste sorting rules – place the packaging into the appropriate container according to the type of plastic and do not forget to separate any parts made of another material (e.g. sealing or insert in the cap) if the collection system in your area requires it.
The simplest way to choose is to use the advanced filter within the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, jars or dispensers), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. With it you can quickly filter packaging according to several parameters – specifically by neck type, required size, colour and material used. By combining these options you narrow down the offer to packaging that best matches the needs of your product and the planned dosing method.
The plastic bottle with smooth cap and reducer insert is also practical for travelling and distribution of finished products because it is light and resistant to breakage. For shipping, we recommend paying attention to carefully tightening the cap and securing the bottle properly inside the parcel (e.g. bubble wrap, cardboard dividers) to minimize mechanical stress on the packaging. For travel sizes, choose an appropriate amount of product and, if necessary, add additional sealing or protective packaging if you expect changes in pressure or temperature during transport.
