The packaging is designed for filling various types of serums, concentrates and oil blends that require a firmly sealable bottle with minimized air access. The smooth glass surface allows easy labelling with a sticker, and the clean design combines well with other packaging in the product line.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol (ALK001) or plant-derived ethanol (ALK002). This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe usability period of the final product.
First remove residues of the original product by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example warm water with a mild cleansing agent). Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water, let it dry, and afterwards disinfect it with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After complete drying, the bottle is ready for new filling. For professional use, we recommend introducing a unified hygiene procedure for all reused packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be sorted into the container intended for glass after rinsing off product residues. The metal cap is sorted among metal packaging according to local rules, or remains on the bottle if the local system allows it. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove product residues from the packaging in order to facilitate its processing in the recycling system.
For concentrated serums and oil blends, we recommend filling slowly and using a suitable filling aid (funnel or dosing syringe) in order to minimize contamination of the neck and thread. After filling, check whether the threads are clean, and only then close the bottle tightly so that the sealing is as effective as possible. For formulations containing volatile substances or a higher proportion of alcohol, it is advisable to carry out trial filling and a short-term storage test in order to verify the behaviour of the product in contact with the packaging and closure.
