Thanks to the high-quality aluminum body and the practical mechanical sprayer, this pack is suitable for cosmetic preparations, cleaning solutions and creative DIY formulations that require convenient, even application without contact with the contents.
The opaque construction of the aluminum bottle helps reduce light exposure to the contents, which can contribute to longer stability of certain more sensitive ingredients when properly stored. This product is supplied as a complete combination of aluminum bottle and sprayer, created on Handymade to offer a functional and tested solution for regular use. Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled appropriately and if the sprayer mechanism is not damaged. However, with each new filling it is necessary to follow basic hygiene principles – thoroughly clean both the bottle and the sprayer and disinfect them before filling with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol of plant origin (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and helps maintain the quality of your formulations.
The aluminum bottle with mechanical sprayer is ideal for liquid formulations that are to be applied as a fine spray – for example facial and body sprays, hydrolats, hair tonics, air and textile fresheners or light cleaning solutions. Thanks to the opaque metal body, it is also suitable for products with more sensitive ingredients that benefit from limited light exposure, always in line with the recommendations for the specific formulation.
After the contents have been emptied, we recommend first rinsing the sprayer with warm (not boiling) water to remove product residues from the tube and nozzle. You can then briefly spray a small amount of a suitable alcohol through the mechanism, which will help clean the fine channels and at the same time acts as a disinfectant. Before the next filling, it is important to allow all parts to dry thoroughly. Avoid mechanical damage to the nozzle and prolonged soaking of the metal parts in aggressive cleaning solutions.
If you do not want to continue using the bottle and sprayer, we recommend first emptying them completely and, where possible, removing any remaining contents. The metal body of the aluminum container is usually sorted into the container designated for metal packaging, while the plastic mechanism of the sprayer belongs in plastic waste, unless local collection rules specify otherwise. Adapt the specific method of sorting to the recommendations of your municipality or city and to the information provided by the material data in the product parameters on Handymade, in order to ensure the most efficient material recovery possible.
