The glass medicine bottle with ribbed safety cap is a professional packaging suitable for filling various liquid preparations, where precise handling, protection of the contents and first‑opening control are important. The combination of high‑quality glass and a safety closure creates a reliable bottle for artisanal and small‑scale production of cosmetics or other specialised products.
Thanks to the stable glass, the medicine bottle is suitable for filling more sensitive liquids and solutions that need a protected environment and packaging resistant to normal use. The safety cap with tamper‑evident band helps visually check the first opening and increases confidence in the hygiene and integrity of the filled product.
This glass bottle is supplied together with a ribbed safety cap, forming a complete functional set ready for immediate use. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging, rinsing it and then disinfecting it. Products based on alcohol, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, are suitable for disinfection. On the website you will find them as the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After disinfection, let the bottle and cap dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then fill with the finished product.
The glass medicine bottle can be used repeatedly if handled appropriately and if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly, ideally using alcohol‑based products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Make sure the bottle and closure are completely dry to prevent dilution or alteration of your final product.
When filling, we recommend using a funnel or suitable dosing device to avoid contaminating the neck. Do not fill the bottle completely to the top; leave a small headspace for safe closing. After screwing on the ribbed cap, check that the closure is evenly tightened and that the tamper‑evident band is intact. Before serial production it is advisable to carry out a trial filling and a short‑term stability test to verify tightness and the behaviour of your formula in contact with the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. After emptying, remove any product residues from the glass bottle and place it in the appropriate waste container according to local sorting rules. The plastic cap generally needs to be sorted separately from the glass. Before handing it over for recycling we recommend at least roughly rinsing the packaging to minimise product residues.
To choose suitable packaging you can use the extended filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging material category. In the extended filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, colour and material. Thanks to this you can quickly filter only those bottles, medicine bottles, jars or closures that match your formula and the visual design of your product.
