FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is it possible to use this glass bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with careful handling, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle and cap and subsequently disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol from the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or with plant ethanol from the product Ethanol 96 % denatured plant. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and preserves the stability of your formulation.

How to properly clean and prepare the bottle before the first filling?

Before the first filling, it is recommended to visually inspect the glass bottle, remove any dust and rinse it according to the manufacturer’s internal hygiene standards. After mechanical cleaning, it is appropriate to disinfect the inner surface with alcohol, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol, and let it dry thoroughly. Only then is the bottle ready to be filled with the final product.

How to safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, its recycling in accordance with local waste sorting rules is recommended. The glass bottle should be emptied of any remaining content and placed in the container intended for glass according to the marking in the product parameter table. The metal aluminium cap must be separated and sorted into the appropriate container for metal packaging, or according to the instructions of your collection system. By recycling you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.

Is this glass medicine bottle also suitable for concentrated aromatic or active blends?

Glass material is generally suitable for packaging concentrated aromatic and active blends because it is chemically stable and has low interaction with the contents. Nevertheless, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test for each new formulation – filling a smaller trial amount, observing the behaviour of the blend over time and verifying that there is no discolouration, sediment or influence on the scent. At the same time, check that the aluminium cap seals reliably and does not show undesirable changes in contact with the formulation.
