The glass bottle with a matte surface and precise dropper closure is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid preparations where controlled dosing and a representative appearance are important. High-quality glass in combination with a dropper allows safe and hygienic filling as well as application, making the bottle suitable for cosmetic formulations, concentrated blends and artisanal products. The dark matte glass also supports the protection of sensitive contents from light, helping to maintain their stability and functional properties during storage and use.
Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

Yes, the glass bottle with dropper closure is designed to handle thicker oils and concentrated serums as well. The dropper enables gradual dripping, so you can dose the contents precisely drop by drop or in small amounts. For very thick formulations, we recommend testing the flow rate before filling and, if necessary, adjusting the formulation (for example by the proportion of lighter oils) so that the application is comfortable for the target user.
The bottle can, if hygiene principles are observed, be reused for new batches of products. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using technical alcohol IPA or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After cleaning and disinfection, allow the bottle and dropper to dry completely to prevent dilution or degradation of the new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material types stated in the product parameters. The glass body usually belongs in the container intended for glass, while the dropper may consist of a combination of plastic, rubber and possibly metal. In practice, it is advisable to separate the glass part from the closure and sort the individual components in accordance with local waste management rules and the recommendations resulting from the material composition in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk.
When filling, we recommend working in a clean environment and using suitable tools, for example a small funnel container, a dosing syringe or a laboratory pipette. Fill the contents slowly along the wall of the bottle in order to reduce foaming and unnecessary aeration of the product. Before screwing on the dropper, check that the neck and the thread are dry and clean, which improves sealing and minimises the risk of leakage during handling or transport of the finished product.
