The plastic jar with a clear body and black lid with induction liner is a practical packaging material designed for the safe packing of creamy, gel-based and loose (powder) formulations. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material and modern closure type, it is suitable for packing cosmetics, body care accessories and other products for which cleanliness, aesthetics and reliable sealing are important. The induction liner in the lid helps to minimise the risk of contamination of the contents during storage and transport, which makes it a professional choice for both smaller and larger production batches.
This jar is supplied together with a lid with an induction liner, which is a functional and practical combination created directly for convenient and safe use. Combinations of packs and closures that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, the behaviour of the packaging during handling, storage and in contact with the specific formulation, in order to ensure long-term user comfort.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the jar is suitable for packing rich creams, body butters and oily balms that are scooped out with fingers or a spatula. Thanks to the screw lid with induction liner, the contents are well protected, which is particularly advantageous for denser formulations that require secure and reliable closure during storage and transport.
Before first use, we recommend visually inspecting the jar to ensure it is not damaged, and then thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting it. In practice, it has proved effective first to remove dust and impurities, use a suitable cleaning agent where possible and, after drying, denature the surfaces using alcohol. For disinfecting packaging, products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based are suitable, for example. Before filling, make sure that the inside of the jar is completely dry.
The jar can be reused if handled correctly, but always with strict hygiene rules being observed. Before each refilling, the pack must be completely emptied, thoroughly washed, allowed to dry and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only in this way is it possible to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or transfer of residues of the previous product into the new formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the product parameters, where the material used and the corresponding recycling mark are specified. Before placing the pack into sorted waste, it is advisable to empty it as much as possible and remove any remaining contents. According to the recycling symbol, assign the jar and lid to the appropriate fraction of sorted waste (for example a plastic container), and separate them if they are made from different materials. In case of any doubts, we recommend following the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or town.
To make it easier to select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a particular packaging category (for example jars, bottles or dropper bottles). The advanced filter allows you to sort the available products according to several parameters – you can choose the desired neck finish, size, colour and packaging material. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the range to packs that meet your technological and design requirements and more easily find a suitable container for a specific type of product.
