The dropper bottle is intended primarily for liquid and slightly oily products for which drop-by-drop dosing is possible. For thicker or highly viscous formulations, we recommend first testing the flow and dosing smoothness on a small trial sample. If the flow is too slow or intermittent, consider adjusting the viscosity of the formulation or using a different type of closure/dispenser available in the relevant packaging category.

The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% plant-based denatured. After cleaning and disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature, check the sealing of the dropper and only then refill the packaging with a new batch of product.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material types specified in the parameter table for the product. The glass part of the bottle, once emptied and basically rinsed, usually belongs in the container designated for glass; the plastic or combined parts of the cap and dropper (cap, pipette, any seals) should be sorted according to their material composition as specified in the product parameters into the appropriate collection bins. Before sorting, we recommend removing any product residues so they do not affect the quality of recycling.

When filling, pay attention to a clean working environment, appropriate protective equipment and the correct filling temperature according to the nature of the formulation. Avoid sudden thermal shocks to prevent damage to the glass (for example, do not pour a very hot mixture into a cold bottle). Use a funnel or filling tools to minimize contact of the product with the neck and the outer surface of the packaging. After filling, close the bottle immediately with the dropper, check tightness and label the batch with the production date and any expiry date.
