Glass bottle – medicine bottle with black spray pump represents a professional packaging solution for liquid cosmetic formulations, light serums or aqueous solutions that require fine and even spraying. The dark smoky glass helps protect the sensitive contents from light, thereby contributing to product stability and a longer shelf life of the active ingredients.
The packaging is designed to combine an aesthetic appearance with practical functionality – the compact glass bottle and fine-mist sprayer allow precise dosing without unnecessary waste. Thanks to the high-quality glass and well-thought-out construction, it is suitable for everyday use in home cosmetics, artisanal production and smaller professional batches.
This glass bottle with sprayer is supplied as a ready-made combination of bottle + closure, so you can immediately include it in your packaging without having to order additional components. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that the result is optimal for your particular product.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated is the packaging ready to be refilled.
The bottle with sprayer is ideal for all liquid formulations that are to be applied as a fine mist – for example facial and body waters, hydrolats, hair sprays, air or fabric fresheners and light treatment mists. We always recommend testing the viscosity and behaviour of your specific formula so that the spraying is even and without clogging.
Before first use and for repeated use we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and, if necessary, with distilled water. Afterwards the packaging must be disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Allow the disinfectant to act for a short time, remove any excess and let the bottle and sprayer dry completely so that no unwanted dilution or impact on your formula occurs.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it and, if possible, removing any product residues. The glass bottle can, after separating the plastic parts of the sprayer, be sorted into glass collection according to the rules of local waste management. The sprayer itself consists of plastic components and a spring mechanism, which are sorted according to the instructions of your municipality for plastic or mixed packaging components. When assigning it to a specific type of sorted waste, follow the information on material composition given in the product parameter table on Handymade.sk and the local recycling rules.
To make it easier to choose packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the filter you can clearly select parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and display only those bottles, medicine bottles, jars or pumps that suit your formula. This allows you to quickly find a suitable combination of design and functionality for your specific product.
When filling, we recommend working in a clean environment, using appropriate tools (funnel, measuring cups, pipettes) and not overfilling the bottle above the recommended level so that the sprayer functions correctly and there is no leaking. Store finished products away from direct sunlight and sources of strong heat or cold to maintain the stability of the raw materials used as well as the mechanical reliability of the sprayer. For thicker or highly viscous formulations, always test the dosing in advance and, if necessary, choose another type of closure or dispenser from the Handymade range.
