Clear Frosted Glass Bottle, White Safety Cap & Dropper, 30 ml

Frosted glass bottle, white safety cap, 30 ml combines a frosted glass bottle, a short plastic dropper insert and a white cap into a ready-made pack for facial oils, oil serums and essential oil blends. The dropper insert fitted in the neck releases the contents drop by drop, so the oil is dispensed precisely and does not pour out all at once if the open bottle tips over. The frosted glass still lets you see how much of the contents is left in the bottle.

The volume of 30 ml corresponds to a common pack size for a facial serum or oil that is used up within a few weeks. It is therefore also suitable for samples, test batches and gift sets, where a larger pack is not worthwhile. All three parts of the set are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetics.

What the set consists of

• Glass bottle, frosted, 30 ml – a body made of matte, partially translucent glass with a narrow neck onto which the cap is screwed.
• Short plastic dropper insert – a PP insert that is pushed into the neck and releases the contents drop by drop, or in a thin stream when tilted further.
• Plastic cap, white, smooth – closes the bottle from above over the dropper insert and keeps the contents in place during transport.

What it is suitable for

It works best with thin contents that pass through the dropper insert without pressing: oils for the face, hair and beard, cuticle oil, oil serums, essential oil blends in a carrier oil, and thin water-based or alcohol-based solutions. The same set is also suitable for concentrates where the exact number of drops matters.

Thick serums, gels with a higher proportion of thickener and creams are dispensed poorly through a short dropper insert. They remain in the bottle or come out unevenly. Bottles with a pump or jars are more suitable for such textures.

Filling and volume

The bottle has a nominal volume of 30 ml, that is, the volume the packaging is designed for under normal filling. The brimful capacity given in the parameters is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between the two provides a reserve for the dropper insert and for the expansion of the contents with changes in temperature. Therefore, fill the bottle up to the nominal volume, not to the brim, otherwise the contents will overflow when the dropper insert is pushed in.

Good to know

• Preparation before the first filling – we recommend washing the bottle, dropper insert and cap, disinfecting them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leaving them to dry completely. Residual water in an oil-based product reduces its stability.
• Temperature of the contents – only a cooled product should be filled into glass. A sudden change in temperature can damage the glass, and warm contents contract as they cool, which changes the level in the bottle.
• Plastic dropper insert and essential oils – with undiluted essential oils or blends with a higher proportion of solvents, we recommend testing the behaviour of the dropper insert on one piece and checking the tightness.
• Reuse – after thorough washing and disinfection, the glass can be filled again. Check the dropper insert and cap before further use, and replace them if they are deformed or smell of the previous contents.
• Other closures – closures with the same neck type, given in the parameters, fit the bottle. You can find ready-made packaging + closure combinations in the Handymade range. For your own combination, we recommend checking the tightness and dispensing with the specific formulation.
• Recycling – the bottle belongs in glass, the dropper insert and cap in plastics. Separate the parts before disposal.
