Clear Frosted Glass Bottle, Oil Pump, 30 ml

The 30 ml glass bottle with oil dispenser is a complete set for dispensing facial and body oils: a milky frosted glass bottle, a black pump with a dip tube, and a transparent cap that protects the pump head during transport. Each press releases a small, consistently equal amount of oil, so the product does not spill and dosing is not guesswork as with a dropper. The frosted glass diffuses light while the contents remain slightly visible.

The set is intended for cosmetic preparations in travel or sample size. For anhydrous oil-based products, the dispenser is also practical because the contents do not come into contact with fingers during use and are exposed to air less than in an open bottle.

• Light diffusion – frosted glass scatters light and helps protect oils sensitive to oxidation. It does not offer the same protection as dark glass, so do not expose the bottle to direct sunlight.

How to use the set

The bottle is filled with oil, the dispenser is screwed on, and a few presses draw the oil into the tube. The first doses are usually weaker until the system fills up. After use, the transparent cap is put on.

The dispenser is designed for liquid oils and oil serums. The thicker the contents, the harder they are to draw up and the smaller the actual dose. For oil blends containing waxes, butters, or thickeners, we therefore recommend verifying the seal and operation of the dispenser with the specific formulation before filling a larger quantity.

Suitable for products such as

• facial oil serums – blends of vegetable oils with oil-soluble active ingredients, where precise small dosing is valued,
• hair, beard, and cuticle oils – one to two presses are enough, no product is wasted,
• massage and body oils in travel size – samples, trial sizes, gift sets.

The set is not intended for water-based tonics, hydrolats, or alcohol-based solutions. An oil dispenser behaves differently from a spray pump, and thin watery contents may leak from the pump head.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the volume for which the container is intended under normal filling. The total volume to the brim is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck and is always slightly larger. The difference provides headspace for the dispenser tube and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. Otherwise, when the dispenser is screwed on, the oil will overflow through the neck. Both values are stated in the parameters.

Good to know

• Preparation before first filling – wash the glass, disinfect with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely. Rinse the dispenser and pump it dry so that no water remains in the tube. Residual water in oil can trigger microbial growth.
• Reuse – the bottle can be refilled after washing. The dispenser is harder to clean; when changing oil or fragrance, it is advisable to replace it.
• Glass and heat – the bottle can handle normal filling with warm oil, but not sudden thermal shock. Allow hot contents to cool first.
• Plastic and essential oils – the tube and the inside of the dispenser come into contact with the contents. For blends with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, we recommend checking the behaviour of the plastic parts after a few weeks of storage. The transparent cap does not come into contact with the contents.
• Labelling – degrease the glass surface before applying the label.
• Recycling – before disposal, separate the glass from the plastic parts; glass goes in the glass bin, the dispenser and cap in plastics.
