It consists of a bottle made of frosted glass with a nominal volume of 30 ml and a glossy black-gold sprayer with a smoke-tinted cap that protects the nozzle from dust and accidental pressing. What the set is suitable for

The sprayer works reliably with thin liquids: aqueous solutions, hydrolates, tonics, alcohol-based perfumed waters, light hair sprays or refreshing mists for textiles. The thinner the preparation, the finer and more even the mist produced.

The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics. It is not intended for filling food products.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the amount for which the bottle is designed under normal filling. The total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference provides a reserve for the sprayer tube and for expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. An overfilled bottle will overflow once the sprayer is screwed on, or liquid will enter the thread. Both values are listed in the product parameters.

Good to know

Before filling for the first time, wash and disinfect the bottle with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow it to dry completely. Rinse the sprayer with clean water or alcohol, spray several times into the air and let it drain. Residual water in the bottle would dilute the preparation and reduce the effectiveness of preservation.

For preparations containing essential oils or a higher proportion of solvents, we recommend testing the sprayer's behaviour with the specific formulation. Glass tolerates these substances without problems, but the plastic parts of the mechanism and the seal may change properties after prolonged contact with concentrated fragrant substances. A short test with the finished formulation over a few weeks will show whether the mist remains even and whether the set stays airtight.

Once emptied, the bottle can be reused. Glass is washed with warm water and detergent and disinfected with alcohol. After washing the sprayer, spray it with clean water to remove any residue of the previous preparation from the nozzle.

On frosted glass, a transparent label blends visually with the surface. Glass does not tolerate sudden temperature changes, so do not fill the bottle with hot contents or move it directly from cold to warm conditions.
