Glass bottle with fine mist sprayer, 30 ml

A small glass bottle with a ready-to-use sprayer for toners, facial mists and hydrolates, that is, thin water-based or alcohol-based preparations applied to the skin or hair as a fine spray. The set consists of a 30 ml frosted glass bottle and a plastic sprayer in a glossy white and silver finish. Both parts have an 18 mm neck, so you simply fill the bottle and screw the sprayer on.

The frosted glass keeps the contents visible, so you can see how much of the preparation is left. The 30 ml volume suits a travel pack, a sample for a customer or a smaller batch of your own toner that you will use up before anything has time to change in it. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics, and you will find the declaration of conformity with the product.

Suitable uses

• Facial toners and mists – low-viscosity water-based preparations spray evenly and do not run.
• Hydrolates – floral or herbal water in a spray is applied more hygienically than pouring it into the palm.
• Hair and body sprays – light refreshing waters, alcohol-based hair sprays or scented waters with a lower proportion of oil.
• Samples and travel packs – 30 ml is enough for several weeks of regular use and fits into hand luggage.

Filling and volume

The bottle is designed to be filled up to the nominal volume of 30 ml. The brimful volume given in the parameters is slightly larger, because it measures the physical space up to the neck. This difference provides a reserve for the sprayer tube and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. A bottle filled to the brim would overflow through the neck when the sprayer is screwed on.

One press of the sprayer releases approximately 0.14 ml of the preparation. The figure is indicative and depends on the contents and on how fully you press the sprayer.

Good to know

Before the first filling, wash the bottle with warm water, spray or wipe it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leave it to dry completely upside down. Press the sprayer several times in clean alcohol or in water and then without liquid, so that the tube and the pump are emptied.

The sprayer is intended for thin liquids. Thick serums, emulsions or pure vegetable oils are difficult to spray through the nozzle, produce a jet instead of a mist and over time clog the nozzle. Try a preparation with a higher proportion of oil in a single bottle first and check how the sprayer behaves before filling larger quantities. Also check how the plastic parts behave with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, which can put some plastics under long-term stress.

The glass withstands repeated washing and disinfection with alcohol, so the bottle is suitable for reuse. When changing the contents, replace the sprayer or rinse it thoroughly as well. A residue of the old preparation remains in the tube and the pump, and it could spoil the new contents.

The bottle is made of glass and the sprayer of polypropylene and aluminium. For disposal, unscrew the sprayer from the bottle and separate the parts.
