Before each new filling, however, it is important to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of the new formulation being affected by residues of the previous product.

How should I properly clean the bottle before further use?

First remove the residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that does not leave a film or fragrance. Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water, let it dry and finally disinfect the inner and outer surfaces using alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Before refilling, make sure that the container is completely dry.
