Clear Glass Bottle, Glossy Gold Black Spray, Smoky Overcap, 100 ml

A complete set of a glass bottle with a sprayer for tonics, hydrosols and mists: a clear glass vial with a nominal volume of 100 ml and a black-gold glossy sprayer with a smoke-tinted transparent cap. Clear glass shows the contents and does not react with water-based or alcohol-based formulas. The sprayer dispenses a fine mist, so there is no need to pour the contents or apply by hand. The set is suitable for facial tonics, hydrosols, mists, hair sprays, alcohol-based perfume waters and herbal sprays – that is, for liquid, thin contents applied by spraying.

The dark glossy finish of the cap with a smoke-tinted cover looks shelf-ready on its own, which is why the set is also used for smaller sales runs and gift packaging. Both the glass and the sprayer are declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products. The glass bottle alone carries a certificate for direct food contact; the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics.

How the set works

The bottle has the shape of a vial with a narrow neck, and the sprayer simply screws onto it. The dip tube reaches almost to the bottom, so the contents can be sprayed out with almost no residue. Each press releases a small, consistent dose, which is an advantage with tonics and mists where the skin only needs to be moistened, not drenched. The smoke-tinted cap protects the nozzle from dust and accidental pressing in a bag or on a shelf.

Nominal and total volume

When filling, keep in mind that the nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for under normal filling conditions. The total volume to the brim is the physical capacity up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference provides a margin for the dip tube and the sprayer body, which displace some of the contents upwards when screwed on, and for the expansion of the liquid with temperature changes. Fill the bottle to the nominal volume, not to the brim – otherwise the contents will overflow when closing.

What contents it is suitable for

The sprayer works reliably with contents that have a consistency close to water: hydrosols, tonics, facial and body mists, light hair sprays, alcohol-based perfume and cologne waters, fabric sprays and herbal extracts for cosmetic purposes. With thicker contents – gel tonics, emulsion sprays or richer oils – the mechanism may clog or spray a stream instead of a mist. Test light oil sprays with a small amount before filling an entire batch.

What is good to know

Light. Clear glass does not protect the contents from light. Contents sensitive to light (products with vitamin C, some plant extracts, essential oils in alcohol) should be stored away from direct sunlight, or choose amber or blue glass for them. The smoke-tinted cap covers only the sprayer, not the contents themselves.

Preparation before first filling. Wash the bottle, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Rinse the sprayer with clean water, press it several times without contents and allow to dry. Do not place it in boiling water or in an oven.

Repeated use. The glass can be reused without restriction. After emptying, rinse the sprayer; for alcohol-based contents, also rinse with ethanol. When switching the contents from a fragranced product to an unfragranced one, be aware that the plastic will retain some of the fragrance.

Plastic and concentrated substances. With high concentrations of essential oils, pure solvents or strongly acidic solutions, we recommend verifying the sprayer's behaviour with the specific formulation – monitor the seal, any change in the colour of the plastic and the smoothness of dispensing.

Labelling. The cylindrical body of the bottle provides a flat surface for a label.

Recycling. The glass bottle goes in the glass bin; the sprayer is disposed of as plastic made up of multiple materials.
