Glass bottle – matte pharmaceutical bottle with white-gold spray pump represents an elegant and professional packaging suitable for various cosmetic and application solutions. The matte glass helps protect more sensitive formulations from excessive light exposure, and the spray pump ensures comfortable, even application of liquids directly onto the skin or into the air. This type of packaging is ideal for small product batches, test packs, and finished premium products, where not only appearance but also reliable and precise dosing is important.
Yes, the bottle and the spray pump can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol (for example IPA- or ethanol-based products), so that no residues of the previous contents or contamination remain inside. For disinfection you can use IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill the packaging.
First empty the bottle and rinse it with lukewarm water, optionally with a mild, non-aggressive detergent suitable for laboratory or cosmetic equipment. Then rinse it several times with clean water to remove any residues of the cleaning agent. The spray pump should be rinsed by drawing a small amount of clean water into the mechanism and actuating it several times so that the internal channel is flushed. After mechanical cleaning, we recommend disinfection with alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely at room temperature.
When selecting packaging, consider above all the consistency of the product (aqueous solution, oil blend, emulsion), the alcohol content and essential oil content, as well as the application method. A spray pump is ideal for liquid preparations applied as a fine mist or spray. For more viscous products, pump dispensers or dosing applicators may be more suitable. Within one packaging range, you can combine different types of closures, but we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – testing sealing, dose per stroke and formulation stability during prolonged storage.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle with spray pump, we recommend recycling it according to the material information provided in the product parameter table. After emptying and optionally rinsing the glass part of the packaging, dispose of it in the appropriate glass collection container according to local separate collection rules. The plastic spray pump must be separated and placed in plastic waste collection or mixed waste, depending on the recycling options in your municipality. Before handing the packaging over for recycling, make sure that there are no significant product residues left, in order to avoid contamination of sorted waste.
