The glass bottle with dropper is an elegant and practical container designed for precise dosing of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and dropper, it allows controlled withdrawal of the contents drop by drop, which is ideal for concentrated ingredients, serums, extracts or aromatherapeutic blends. The green glass helps limit light penetration to sensitive formulations, thereby contributing to the stability, quality and longer shelf life of the stored product.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, this glass container can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and the impact on the stability of the new product. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of the required purity. On Handymade you will find the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable, which are often used in the preparation and hygiene of packaging.
Before reuse we recommend disassembling the container (separating the bottle and the dropper), rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly removing residues of the previous product and then rinsing with clean water. It is then appropriate to disinfect the bottle and, if necessary, also the glass part of the dropper with alcohol, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. After disinfection all parts must be allowed to dry completely at room temperature. For rubber or plastic components of the dropper, follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and always test whether the disinfection procedure does not damage the material.
To select a suitable container you can use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the desired category (for example glass bottles, pharmaceutical bottles, jars or pots) an advanced filter will appear at the top of the page, where you can sort products according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material used. This makes it easy to choose a container that matches your formulation, method of dosing and also the visual requirements of your brand.
The dropper is intended primarily for liquid and low-viscosity preparations where dropwise dosing is important. These include for example facial and body oils, serums with active substances, aromatherapeutic blends, perfume oils or herbal extracts for external use. For thicker emulsions or gel formulations, dosing with the dropper may be limited, therefore we recommend always testing the practical behaviour of the specific formula in this container.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and with the information given in the product parameters for this container on the Handymade website. The glass part can usually be placed in the glass collection container after you have removed any product residues. The dropper and other components (for example rubber, plastic or metal parts) should be separated and sorted according to material, or placed in mixed waste if they are not accepted in the local recycling system. Always follow local legislation and the recommendations of municipal services.
