The green glass bottle with aluminium cap represents a professional packaging suitable for filling a wide range of liquid and partially viscous formulations. Thanks to the high-quality packaging glass, the bottle is stable, resistant to normal mechanical handling and suitable for small to medium-sized cosmetic and laboratory batches. The green glass naturally helps protect more sensitive components from external influences and supports longer stability of the filled product. The aluminium cap completes the elegant appearance of the bottle and at the same time ensures reliable closure of the contents.
The glass bottle in this category belongs among standalone packs that are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or with unconventional consistencies.

Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of the filled product.
Before reuse, it is advisable to first rinse the bottle mechanically with warm water and a suitable detergent, thoroughly remove residues of the original contents and let it dry. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging with alcohol, for example using the product IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After the alcohol has evaporated, the bottle is ready for refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, recycling is recommended according to the guidance given in the parameter table for the product. The glass part of the bottle can generally be placed in a container intended for sorted glass collection, the aluminium cap into the appropriate metal waste stream or according to local recycling rules. Before disposal, it is advisable to rinse the packaging to remove product residues to facilitate the subsequent recycling process.
Glass is generally a very stable material even for formulations with a higher proportion of essential oils or other volatile substances, therefore this bottle is also suitable for aromatherapeutic and oil blends for external use. For very concentrated or unconventional formulations we always recommend carrying out your own storage and dosing test to verify the behaviour of the product over time and the functionality of the selected type of closure or dropper.

When choosing a closure, it is important to check the compatibility of the neck type and dimensions so that the closure fits correctly and seals. Also take into account the viscosity of the product and the desired dispensing method – for low-viscosity solutions, droppers or fine spray pumps are suitable, for oils and thicker formulations rather classic screw caps or applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional, nevertheless we recommend that for each new formulation you carry out a trial filling and verify sealing, dosing and the stability of the product during storage.
