Product description

Floral water, hydrolat, white rose in organic quality is a gentle floral water obtained by steam distillation of white rose petals, i.e. selected species or cultivars of the genus Rosa. During distillation, the delicate aromatic components of the flowers pass into the aqueous phase, creating a hydrolat with a pure, soft and very delicate rose profile.
Organic white rose hydrolat is particularly suitable for formulations for sensitive, dry, delicate, mature, tired and reddened skin. It is more elegant and often sensorially lighter than more intense rose hydrolats, which makes it suitable for minimalist facial cosmetics, gentle facial mists, toners, serums, emulsions and products aimed at skin comfort.

Key benefits

  • Very gentle rose hydrolat – also suitable for subtly perfumed or unperfumed formulations.
  • Suitable for sensitive skin – practical for simple toners and facial waters.
  • Supports comfort of dry skin – suitable with glycerin, aloe vera, panthenol and a lipid phase in emulsions.
  • Elegant sensorial profile – a softer rose character without heavy floral intensity.
  • Suitable for eye-contour products – only in formulations designed specifically for this area.
  • Good combinability – suitable with hyaluronic acid, betaine, allantoin, panthenol and peptides.

Suitable for products such as

  • gentle facial toners for sensitive and dry skin,
  • facial mists with a subtle rose profile,
  • hydrating serums with hyaluronic acid,
  • eye gels and light emulsions with a specially designed formulation,
  • creams for mature skin,
  • masks for reddened or tired skin,
  • gentle cleansing waters and make-up removing emulsions.

Use in formulation

  • Recommended dosage: 1 – 100 %.
  • Soluble in: water.
  • Miscible with: distilled water, other hydrolats, glycerin, aloe vera, propanediol and hydrogels.
  • Compatible with: toners, serums, oil-in-water emulsions, facial mists and gentle cleansing products.
  • It is recommended to add it during the cooling phase (at a temperature below 40 °C).
  • For sensitive skin: combine with panthenol, allantoin, betaine and a low amount of fragrance components.
  • For mature skin: suitable with peptides, ceramides in an emulsion, niacinamide at an appropriate pH and antioxidants.

Safety and storage

  • Intended for cosmetic use.
  • For sensitive skin we recommend a patch test for tolerance.
  • For the eye area, assess the pH, osmolality, irritation risk and microbiological safety of the entire formulation.
  • Protect from contamination, heat, frost and direct light.
  • Store in a well-closed container, ideally in a cool, dark place.
  • Finished aqueous products must have an appropriate preservation system.

FAQ
