This glass bottle with dropper forms a complete, functional set of packaging and dosing, designed for convenient and reliable use. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. Yes, the packaging can be safely reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, both the dropper bottle and the pipette must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination or residues of the previous formulation. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment, allow all parts of the packaging to dry thoroughly and only then refill the bottle.
First we recommend disassembling the packaging into individual parts (glass dropper bottle, pipette, and any internal seals depending on the construction). The glass part can be rinsed with a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly rinsed with water. Afterwards, it is advisable to disinfect all components using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging parts to air-dry at room temperature so that no condensate or cleaning agent residues remain inside.
The dark glass of the packaging helps to limit light penetration to the contents, which is beneficial for cosmetic preparations with sensitive active substances such as certain antioxidants or plant extracts. In practice, it is recommended to store such a product away from direct sunlight and at a stable temperature. The closure with pipette and any plastic or rubber components should be sorted according to the material type specified in the product parameters (for example into plastic waste or mixed waste if the recycling system does not accept the specific material).
