Amber Glass Bottle, Gold White Dropper, 15 ml

A glass bottle, dropper vial with a white-gold dropper, 15 ml is a complete set for preparations applied drop by drop. Amber glass reduces light transmission and protects sensitive contents; the dropper measures one or several drops without fully opening the bottle. Particularly suitable for facial serums, essential oil blends, hair and nail oils or trial samples where you want to offer a small quantity in packaging that looks finished and dispenses comfortably.

The bottle and dropper are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products. The set is not approved for contact with food, so it is not suitable for edible oils or syrups.

Why this set

• Light protection – amber glass transmits less light than clear. This slows the oxidation of oils and fading of sensitive ingredients such as vitamins, plant extracts or essential oils. For leave-on serums stored on a bathroom shelf, this is a practical advantage.
• Precise dosing – the dropper with a glass tube measures drop by drop. The customer applies exactly as much as needed without contaminating the product with their fingers.
• Glass with no interaction with the contents – glass does not react with essential oils, alcohol or most active ingredients. It is therefore also suitable for fragrance blends and alcohol-based tinctures, which could soften or discolour plastics.
• Finished product appearance – the white cap with a gold ring gives the dark bottle contrast, and the set looks neat even without additional decoration. A label adheres well to the cylindrical body.

How to use the set

The bottle has an 18/410 neck finish and the dropper with the same thread fits it precisely. To dispense, press the bulb, the glass tube dips into the contents, and upon release the dropper draws in the liquid. The customer then gently presses the bulb again and counts the drops.

The glass tube of the dropper is matched to the height of the bottle and reaches almost to the bottom, so even the last remnant of the product can be dispensed. After use, the dropper is screwed back on and the bottle is carried closed.

Nominal and total volume

The bottle is designed to be filled to the nominal volume, i.e. the quantity stated in the name. The total volume to the rim is larger. The difference serves as a reserve for the glass dropper tube, which displaces some of the contents upward when screwed in, and for the expansion of the liquid with temperature changes. If the bottle is filled to the rim, the contents will spill through the neck when the dropper is inserted, contaminating the thread and reducing the seal.

Suitable for products such as

• Facial and eye serums – the small volume and drop-by-drop dispensing match the way serums are applied to the skin.
• Essential oil blends and fragrance compositions – glass does not absorb fragrance and does not react with terpenes; the amber colour protects sensitive ingredients from light.
• Nail and cuticle oils – the dropper applies a drop directly to the nail fold.
• Hair and beard oils in trial size – a volume of 15 ml lasts for several weeks of use and can be dispensed into the palm.
• Samples and travel sizes – smaller versions of serums and oils that you normally sell in 30 ml or 50 ml bottles.

What is worth knowing

• Before first filling, wash both the bottle and the dropper, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Moisture in the bottle will spoil anhydrous oils and water residues in the dropper can contaminate the contents.
• The dropper bulb is made of silicone and plastic, not glass. For contents with a high proportion of essential oils or alcohol, we recommend testing the behaviour of the bulb with the specific formulation, especially during prolonged storage.
• Glass and heat – a sudden change in temperature, such as hot contents poured into cold glass, can crack the bottle. Allow the preparation to cool to approximately room temperature before filling.
• Reuse is possible. After emptying, wash both the bottle and the dropper, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Oil residues in the dropper bulb are harder to remove and can develop an odour over time.
• Labelling – the cylindrical shape allows a flat label to be applied around the entire body. On amber glass, light or gold labels stand out and match the dropper cap.
• Recycling – the glass bottle goes in the glass waste bin; the dropper is made from multiple materials and should be sorted according to local rules.
