Product description
Glass bottle, vial, cream pump dispenser, 15 ml
The set of a brown glass vial with a capacity of 15 ml and a black cream pump dispenser is designed for small quantities of thicker cosmetic preparations that need to be dispensed without finger contact. Brown glass filters light and thus protects contents sensitive to oxidation, such as eye creams, vitamin serums or preparations with plant extracts. The dispenser delivers approximately 0.12 ml with each press, which corresponds to a standard dose of eye cream or concentrated serum.
The small volume is suitable for samples, travel sizes and preparations that are used in small amounts over a longer period. The set is declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products. This set does not have food contact certification; it is intended for cosmetics.
What it's good for
- Eye creams and creams for the eye area – the small dose and closed system match the way these preparations are applied.
- Concentrated serums and gels – the dispenser handles thinner and medium-thick textures; a very thick balm will not be drawn up.
- Creams with sensitive ingredients – brown glass limits light exposure, the dispenser limits air and finger contact with the contents.
- Samples and test batches – 15 ml is enough to test a formula with a customer or for short-term use.
Nominal and total volume
The nominal volume of 15 ml is the quantity the bottle is intended for during standard filling. The total volume to the brim, stated in the parameters, is the physical capacity up to the neck. The difference provides a reserve for the pump dip tube and for expansion of the contents when the temperature changes.
Fill the bottle to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If overfilled, the contents will be pushed out through the neck when the pump is screwed on and the packaging will not seal.
Before first filling, wash the bottle, disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. The dispenser only needs to be rinsed with clean water and left to drain so no moisture remains in the dip tube.
Good to know
The dispenser works with a dip tube that draws contents from the bottom. It is therefore suitable for liquid and medium-thick emulsions. Very thick creams or anhydrous balms cannot be drawn up by the tube and the dispenser will stop working. Check the consistency with a test fill of one unit before filling the entire batch.
Before first use, press the dispenser several times on empty until the tube fills and the product begins to dispense. A small residue will always remain at the bottom of the bottle that the tube cannot reach. Keep this in mind when filling.
Glass withstands washing with warm water, disinfection with alcohol and repeated use. The dispenser is made of polypropylene. For prolonged contact with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, verify its behaviour with the specific formulation. The bottle is sorted as glass, the dispenser as plastic.
Closures with the same neck type as stated in the parameters, and other ready-made combinations, can be found in the Handymade range. For custom combinations, we recommend verifying the seal and dispensing performance with the specific preparation.
