Can I use this glass bottle repeatedly?

Before each refilling, the medicine bottle and the dispensing closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using alcohol-based preparations such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. How should I properly clean the glass medicine bottle before further use?

Before reuse, we recommend first cleaning the bottle mechanically (rinsing out the residues of the original product and, if necessary, using a suitable cleaning agent compatible with the original filling). Then rinse the packaging and the individual closure components with clean water and allow them to dry thoroughly. To ensure hygiene, it is important to disinfect the packaging before refilling – it is practical to use an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment, allow the packaging to dry completely so that no residues of cleaning or disinfecting agents remain.

How should I correctly recycle the glass bottle and dispenser if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information in the product parameters. The glass part (medicine bottle) can usually be placed in glass waste after it has been thoroughly emptied and basically cleaned. The dispensing closure and any plastic components should be separated and sorted according to the material specified in the technical parameters of the packaging. Before disposing of it in sorted waste, check that no product residues remain in the packaging that could complicate the recycling process.
