Glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations as well as more sensitive formulations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and dropper closure, it is ideal for products where control over the quantity during application and the stability of the contents during storage are important.
The dark glass design provides enhanced protection against light, which helps reduce the risk of degradation of light-sensitive components such as plant oils, extracts or active ingredients. The bottle is suitable for liquid products of varying viscosity where hygienic, targeted dosing and aesthetically appealing packaging are required.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The dark glass design helps reduce light penetration to the contents, which is advantageous for products with light-sensitive components. For maximum stability, we recommend storing the bottle in a dry, cooler and shaded place and ensuring that the dropper is carefully closed after each use in order to minimize contact with oxygen and moisture from the environment.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles and appropriate cleaning between individual fillings are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example using the IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % products available in the Handymade range (IPA 99, ethanol 96). This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable interactions between the original and the new product.
Before reuse, we recommend first mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a gentle cleaning agent, then rinsing it several times with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface with an alcohol solution, for example IPA 99 or plant-based ethanol, and again leave the bottle to air out thoroughly and dry. For the dropper, pay particular attention to the rubber and plastic parts, which should not come into contact with water that is too hot or with aggressive cleaning agents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local recycling rules and the information given in the product parameter table on Handymade. The glass part of the bottle can generally be placed in glass collection once it has been freed from product residues. The closure with dropper (especially the plastic and rubber parts) should be sorted according to the material type specified in the product parameters, or handed in for plastic collection if this is in accordance with local rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to at least roughly rinse the packaging to minimize residues of the cosmetic product in the collection container.
